Ding repair & board care.
Cracked a rail or pushed in the deck? Bring it by. We patch dings and refinish boards locally so your favorite stick stays in the line-up for years — whether we shaped it or not.
The craft · How a board is made
Every Nav City board is built by hand from the blank up — no molds, no shortcuts. Here's how a block of foam becomes the board you ride.
The approach
Before a single pass with the planer, we talk through your height, weight, ability, and home break. The board is designed around how you actually surf — not a one-size template.
Shaped, glassed, and sanded locally in Navarre. You can follow the build the whole way, and pick it up where it was made.
We lock in length, width, thickness, rocker, and fin setup — the numbers that make a board work for you.

The outline is cut and the foam is shaped by hand — planer, surform, and sanding blocks until the rails and curves are right.
Fiberglass and resin are laid up over the foam — the layer that makes the board strong, watertight, and ready to ride.
Hot coat, sand, and polish. The slow, careful part — where a good board becomes a clean one.
Fin boxes set, leash plug in, logo on. Then it's yours — pick it up in Navarre and go get wet.
